Meet Bowie! She is compassionate, friendly, and adventurous!
Bowie is an active participant in The B Fund’s programs. Whether she’s selling baked goods, raising money for the Eversource Walk, or rallying her friends to decorate cards, Bowie is committed to helping critically ill children and their families.
When The B Fund created a team for the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital in 2016, Bowie called upon her friends and family to donate to her cause. She ultimately raised over $2,000 for critically ill children and their families, and her success inspired her to continue her efforts!
Bowie has also been involved with of several of The B Fund’s signature activities, including the Halloween Candy Drive and Lemon-AID and Sweet Sale. These activities helped to raise money to provide families caring for critically ill children with parking vouchers, meal vouchers, housing, and other necessities.
This year, Bowie decided to take on a leadership role in The B Fund’s Be Bag Drive. Be Bags are activity bags that contain games, toys, and other fun treasures to kids in the hospital. When she learned about this drive, Bowie decided to host a card-making event! She gathered her friends to decorate handmade cards that were placed inside Be Bags to let children know that others want them to “Be Well”!
